Consulting with clients interested in forming a new business, Ms. Zaby helps her clients evaluate the type of business entity to be selected, drafts the pertinent documents, and follows up with all business needs of the client such as drafting contracts and reviewing leases. Her litigation practice emphasizes the use of mediation and alternate dispute resolution methods which are designed for the amicable resolution of contested cases without the need for litigation or unwanted publicity; however, she is a zealous advocate for her clients whether in a negotiation context or in court. She is also a frequent speaker on topics such as planned giving, philanthropy, starting a new business, and estate planning for individuals and for business continuation. Ms. Zaby also represents clients in a limited number of family law matters, including divorces, paternity actions, and suits affecting the parent-child relationship.
