Cory J. Martinson

OverviewCory J. Martinson joined Cavitch in August of 2016 as an associate attorney. He is currently practicing in both the business law and litigation practice groups at Cavitch. He advises and represents businesses, families and individuals on a wide variety of matters, often serving in the role of general counsel for closely-held corporations in various industries. Cory is also a co-editor of Matthew Bender & Co.'s publications, Current Legal Forms and Ohio Transaction Guide, contributing to Chapter regarding Limited Liability Companies and Copyrights, respectively.Cory received his undergraduate degree in political science with a minor in legal studies from Heidelberg University, graduating summa cum laude with honors. While at Heidelberg, Cory was also named an academic all-American as a member of the wrestling team and was selected as the student commencement speaker.Cory was born and raised in Brunswick, Ohio, and attended St. Edward High School. He currently resides in Middleburg Heights, Ohio with his wife Natalie, and their son Gryffin.
