Whitney M. Eschenheimer

Whitney Mackey Eschenheimer is a Shareholder in the Litigation Group. Ms. Eschenheimers practice focuses on business litigation, catastrophic injury, and transportation law. She also litigates first and third party insurance claims including casualty losses, construction defects, premises liability and products liability matters. Additionally, she has experience litigating probate, trust, and estate related matters. Ms. Eschenheimer is a native Tulsan and received her Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, from the University of Kansas in 1992 and a Juris Doctor, with distinction, from the University of Oklahoma in 1996. Early in her legal career Ms. Eschenheimer was employed in-house for a commercial property and casualty insurer supervising large exposure losses, making coverage evaluations and supervising litigation. She instructs claims professionals in the areas of underinsured motorist insurance coverage, misrepresentation and good faith claims handling. Ms. Eschenheimer enjoys memberships in both the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel and the Transportation Lawyers Association. She has been a long-term member of the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel and served as a Board Member from 2010 to 2013. She is currently recognized as one of Oklahomas Super Lawyers for insurance coverage expertise and has had that honor for the past several years. She is also a member of Defense Research Institute and an associate member of the Oklahoma Claims Association. Ms. Eschenheimer has been a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association since 1996 and served as a Co-Chair in 2013-2014 of the OBA Litigation Section. She is a member of the Tulsa County Bar Association and served as a legal practice mentor to newly admitted attorneys. In her personal time, Ms. Eschenheimer volunteers for local philanthropies through the Young Mens Service League with her son and is currently serving as the liaison for Emergency Infant Services.
