Charles David Goerisch

An experienced civil litigator, C. David Goerisch handles cases involving a wide range of litigation matters such as complex commercial, real estate, class action, antitrust, mass and toxic tort, and products liability cases in federal courts across the country. With significant knowledge of commercial litigation matters, he represents clients in contractual disputes in a variety of industries including agricultural biotechnology, manufacturing, and healthcare. David has considerable experience in commercial arbitration proceedings, including his representation of a manufacturer that resulted in a confirmed arbitration award exceeding $16.5 million in favor of the manufacturer. He also successfully defended agricultural and mining companies in class action proceedings resulting in the denial of class certification. Prior to joining Lewis Rice, David served as a law clerk with the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, Office of Staff Attorneys. David was selected by his peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers® for 2023-2025.
