Dawn Wellman was born in Valparaiso, Indiana and practiced law in Lake and Porter Counties at the firm of Cohen & Thiros, LLC now in Merrillville, Indiana from 1976 to 1987. While she was both an associate and a partner in that firm, she practiced in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury, and criminal defense.
