Matthew Engel MATTHEW A. ENGEL, born in St. Paul, Minnesota, is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College (1998, Criminal Justice/Psychology) and William Mitchell College of Law (2001, J. D.). In June of 2002, Matt opened The Engel Firm, PLLC in Maple Grove, Minnesota. From 2007 to 2010, Matt was a partner at Aase, Engel, & Kirscher, PLLC, in Roseville, MN. In September of 2010, Matt continued his practice as a solo practitioner with The Engel Firm, PLLC, with office locations in downtown Minneapolis, St. Louis Park, Edina, Eden Prairie and Bloomington. Matt is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and Hennepin County Bar Association. He practices in a variety of areas, including estate planning (wills and trusts), business, employment, family and real estate law, bankruptcy, probate, and litigation. Matt and his wife Melissa, also a 1998 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, reside in Maple Grove with their two children. Matt enjoys the outdoors, hiking, fishing, golf, racquetball, and martial arts.
