Samuel Scott Shapiro

Mr. Shapiro earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University Bloomington and a law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. He is admitted to practice in all Indiana state courts and has also argued cases before both the Court of Appeals of Indiana and the Indiana Supreme Court.Eager to share his legal knowledge with others, Mr. Shapiro has served as a presenter for various organizations and educational institutions including Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs and the Indiana University Police Department. He also served as a substitute adjunct professor in the area of criminal justice at Indiana University Bloomington.Mr. Shapiro is also an active member of the legal community. He is a former member of the National College for DUI Defense and the American Association for Justice and has been involved with many cases that have influenced Indiana criminal defense law.Professional organizations that Mr. Shapiro participates in include the Indiana State Bar Association, the Indiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
