Jeffrey Andrew Scott

Biography Jeffrey A. Scott is a real estate attorney with over 14 years of legal experience in a wide variety of real estate matters. Jeffs real estate practice encompasses both transactional and litigation concerns. He represents title insurance underwriters, title companies, property owners, and real estate buyers and sellers. In addition to his real estate practice, Jeff also represents lenders, financial institutions and creditors. Jeffs goal is provide his clients with the best outcomes in the most efficient manner. His involvement in countless small and large real estate disputes gives him the ability to quickly understand the strengths and weaknesses of each situation, and the ability to effectively counsel his clients to reach their desired resolution. Jeff understands the unique stresses real estate issues cause clients and works diligently with them to address their concerns. Prior to joining Heley, Duncan & Melander, Jeff was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Steven D. Wheeler of the Second Judicial District and an attorney at another Minneapolis based law firm. Outside the office, Jeffrey enjoys running, coaching youth athletics and attending Gopher basketball and football games.
