Michael Weisensel

Biography Mike is motivated by his love of fighting for the little guy and his passion for battling insurance companies and their lawyers. In more than two decades of practice, Mike has represented thousands of people who were injured at no-fault of their own, in a variety of cases including wrongful death, car and truck accidents, and dog bites. Mikes experience includes dozens of first chair jury trials, numerous contested hearings, and millions of dollars in settlements recovered for his clients. Prior to joining Rittgers Rittgers & Nakajima, Mike was the managing attorney for a large personal injury law firm where he ran the firms Dayton, Ohio law office. Earlier in his career, Mike was with a large personal injury firm in Cincinnati, Ohio where he exclusively represented victims and their families in plaintiff personal injury cases. Mike joined Rittgers Rittgers & Nakajima to have the flexibility to accept fewer cases and devoting more time to the people he loves working for; his clients. Mike was born in Rochester, New York the son of a firefighter and school teacher. He graduated from the State University of New York at Brockport in 1992 (Cum Laude) and the University of Akron School of Law in 1996. Mike lives in southwest Ohio and stays busy keeping up with his three teenagers. He also enjoys reading, travel and rooting on his beloved Buffalo Bills.
