Despite being a back seat passenger, a serious car accident in her freshman year of high school resulted in her first moderate concussion and a cervical fusion at the young age of 15. While a Chapel Hill, North Carolina native, Michelle attended Elon University, double majoring in Political Science and Psychology. Before departing to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue her law degree, Michelle clerked for Senior resident Superior Court Judge Carl R. Fox in Raleigh, North Carolina, assisting with civil and criminal felony cases. Thereafter, she attended and graduated from Atlantas John Marshall Law School in 2013. Michelle is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. Michelle lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband Kellum Welton and their two daughters. On the weekends, youll find Michelle in Cartersville where she boards her two horses, Hoss and Tucker.
