David R. Stephens

Professional Bio David Stephens works tirelessly to represent his clients across the state of Texas. He is a trial lawyer with extensive experience in a wide variety of areas with his primarily focus on insurance and commercial litigation. He devotes much of his practice to representing insurance carriers in first party disputes involving residential and commercial claims often arising from catastrophic weather events. Education David attended Trinity University where he double majored in English and Political Science. He graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1990 where he earned his J. D. Bar Admissions State of Texas United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas United States District Court for the Western District of Texas Personal Bio David enjoys spending time with his family and is especially proud of his two children, Harris and Helen. In his spare time, he enjoys adventure traveling, studying history, listening to classical music (he enjoyed playing the violin in the Trinity University Orchestra while in college), tending to his vegetable and rose garden and taking an occasional motorcycle ride.
