She is passionate about protecting individual civil rights and advancing social justice. Prior to joining Egolf + Ferlic + Martinez, LLC, Katherine was in private practice, representing plaintiffs in first amendment, civil rights, employment discrimination/harassment and whistle blower litigation. Katherine also worked to further governmental transparency and accountability through extensive public records litigation. Katherine was born and raised in Santa Fe and has a deep love for the land and people of New Mexico. Outside of work, she enjoys the joyful adventure of raising her young son. Katherine received her Juris Doctorate from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2009. During law school, she was awarded one of two constitutional law fellowships ever awarded at the University of New Mexico School of Law by the McCune Foundation.
