Ronald Starkey

Ron has been practicing law for more than 30 years, first as an associate and partner in large firms in Cleveland and Akron. He founded his own firm in 2008 in Hartville to add a personal touch to the legal skills hed acquired during his time with the larger firms. Ron graduated cum laude from Case Western Reserve School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Ohio and the District of Columbia, and is admitted to all state and federal courts in Ohio. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Akron, graduating magna cum laude from the Honors College. He is a member of the Akron Bar Association, Stark County Bar Association, Portage County Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association and American Bar Association. He previously served on the board of the United Way of Stark County and the Lake YMCA. Ron also served as the Village Solicitor for the Village of Hartville 2009-2022. He is a member of Lake Township Chamber of Commerce, Phi Eta Sigma Academic Fraternity, Golden Key National Honor Society, and has served as a legal advisor for the Lake High School Legal Studies Program since 2011. He is proud to be an Eagle Scout, and is an active supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. A lifelong resident of Northeast Ohio, in his free time, Ron enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, as well as boating, traveling, and bicycling. Ron enjoys music and his favorite idols are Elvis & Johnny Cash, his hero is Abe Lincoln.
