Wendy D. Dawer

Wendy has practiced law in California since 1987, primarily defending insureds and municipalities in general and professional negligence lawsuits, and otherwise focused on a general litigation practice. Since 2002, Wendy has practiced law in Texas, primarily focused on contested and uncontested guardianship and probate matters, as well as construction, real estate and general business and commercial litigation. Wendy is licensed to practice in California and Texas and is a certified Ad Litem, authorized to practice guardianship law in Texas. Wendy is frequently appointed as guardian of the estate in guardianship matters, and as dependent or independent administrator in probated estates. Highlights in Wendys practice have included successfully obtaining a complete restoration of an incapacitated persons rights; opposing the imposition of guardianship for an alleged incapacitated person who did not need guardianship; and pursing claims against parties exercising undue influence, exploitation and fraud against the elderly and incapacitated.
