Dean Andrew Stark

Mr. Stark has been an attorney in the firms litigation section since 2006. Prior to joining RSS&C, Mr. Stark was an attorney in the commercial litigation department of a large Saint Louis firm. Mr. Stark has tried over 30 cases to jury verdict in both state and federal court, and has appeared before both state and federal appellate courts. His litigation experience includes representation of clients both as Plaintiff and Defendant in a wide variety of commercial cases including breach of contract, real estate, commercial tort claims, environmental issues, and claims arising under the Copyright Act and Federal Lanham Act. He also has trial experience in the defense of premises liability claims on behalf of retailers and personal injury from automobile accident claims. Mr. Starks litigation experience includes obtaining a multi-million dollar recovery for a client in a breach of contract case arising out of a business asset purchase agreement and obtaining a top 10 defense verdict in the State of Missouri in the defense of a truss manufacturer arising from a product liability wrongful death action. He has also successfully appeared before both state and federal court of appeals on behalf of corporate clients arguing cases involving issues such as insurance coverage in environmental remediation cases, trademark issues under the Lanham Act, and retailer liability issues. A native of Ohio, Mr. Stark bleeds Scarlet and Gray for the Buckeyes, and is an avid weekend golfer - except during football season. Mr. Stark is licensed to practice in the states of Missouri and Ohio, the U. S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the U. S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the District Court of Colorado, the U. S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, and the 8th and 10th Circuit Courts of Appeals.
