Jacob has also successfully completed courses allowing him to instruct in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. Field Sobriety Tests are the investigative techniques commonly employed by police when investigating a DWI. Jacob is also a graduate of the highly ­regarded National Criminal Defense College. Not only does Jacob attend courses to stay ahead of the curve on legal issues, Jacob has presented lectures on trial techniques, motion practice, and sex crimes. He has also trained numerous new lawyers starting their careers. In addition to representing those accused of crimes, Jacob uses his years of trial experience and expertise to help his clients who are facing divorce or child custody issues. Family law has become one of Jacobs passions, and his skills and techniques have been used to benefit clients facing difficult family issues.
