David K. Whipple

David Whipple was born and raised in the metropolitan Detroit area and received a bachelors degree in economics from Northern Michigan University in 1981. He was admitted to the Michigan bar in 1984 after graduating with honors from the Detroit College of Law that same year. He also been admitted to practice before the United States Federal District Court. Dave is highly skilled in all aspects of personal injury, wrongful death, and class action litigation. Prior to joining Skupin & Lucas, Dave was a senior partner in the law firm of Fresard & Whipple PC and worked with a Michigan judge on a program to assist veterans. Dave joined the team at Skupin & Lucas because of his proven integrity and ability. In addition to the Michigan and Federal Bar Association, Dave is also a member of the Metropolitan Detroit Bar Association and is the house counsel for the Michigan Animal Rescue League. David and his wife Bobbie have two grown sons and are very active in the community.
