About
Judge Peter A. Lassiter was born in the St. Louis area and through his parents sacrifices attended Catholic grade school and St. Louis U. High School. He graduated undergraduate from St. Louis University in 2002 and the University of Missouri- Columbia School of Law in 2005. He has lived in St. Charles County since 2005. Judge Lassiter served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Lincoln County, Missouri and in Franklin County, Missouri, where he focused on prosecuting intimate partner violence. He founded his own law firm, St. Thomas Legal in 2013. His firm handled a variety of fields of litigation with a focus on Family Law, Estate Planning, Adoption/Guardianship, Criminal Law and other Business-related legal work. He served extensively as a Guardian ad Litem for the Family Court as well as the Assistant Municipal Prosecutor for the City of OFallon. He was appointed to the Bench in 2024. Judge Lassiter commissioned in the Missouri Army National Guard in 2011 and continues to proudly and honorably serve as a Judge Advocate Officer for the various local, state and national needs of the Missouri Guard. Always Ready, Always There. He serves and sits on various Boards in the community, the Knights of Columbus, his home parish as well as his childrens school. Judge Lassiter and his bride love their community in St. Charles County and, live here with their eight children- seven children on Earth and one already in Heaven.
