John Blakley

J. D. Blakley joined Dunn Sheehan LLP in 2013 after practicing for four years at a large and prestigious law firm based in Dallas. He has continued to hone his advocacy skills, gaining extensive and valuable trial and litigation experience in state court, federal court, and arbitrations. In 2016, J. D. was promoted to partner at the firm. With a primary focus on commercial litigation, J. D. has spent his career representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex business disputes. In doing so, he has acquired a deep understanding of, and an invaluable skill set pertaining to, a wide range of litigation topics, including contract law; partnership, shareholder, and fiduciary relations; commercial landlord-tenant disputes; real estate and construction; labor and employment matters; defamation, fraud and business torts; and disputes relating to intellectual property and trade secrets.
