Attorney Marjorie Lewis has decades of experience providing representation in complex litigation and transactional matters in the areas of construction, development, real estate, employment, business, land use and other matters. She also acts as general counsel for various businesses, and she has successfully represented clients in federal and state court litigation matters, including acting as lead counsel during trial and in subsequent appeals. Ms. Lewis further represents clients in front of the City Council, Board of Adjustment and Planning and Zoning Commission. In addition to practicing law, Ms. Lewis is a licensed real estate broker and has been a speaker on various employment and real estate issues. Ms. Lewis was born in Columbia, Missouri, but grew up in Monett, Missouri. She obtained her Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the University of Washington-Seattle, and obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law where she was a member of the Law Review. She is a member of the Construction, Real Estate and Employment Law Sections of the Missouri Bar and is a member of the Boone County Bar Association (President 2016 - 2017). Ms. Lewis is also admitted to practice in the U. S. Eastern and Western Districts Courts of Missouri, and in the U. S. 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Lewis has a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Rating and was selected as one the Missouri Lawyers Weekly 50 Most Powerful Construction Law Attorneys (2023). Ms. Lewis is married with one daughter and enjoys spending time with her family and engaging in outdoor activities.
