Timothy Powers

Tim has been, and continues to be, widely recognized for his work as a lawyer and his contributions to his community. Chambers USA (Chambers and Partners) named him a Senior Statesperson in Texas and one of Americas leading lawyers for banking and finance, 2010-2025. He was selected as a 2021 Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers (Woodward/White, Inc.), and lauded by D CEO Magazines Dallas 500 as one of the most influential leaders in North Texas from 2016-2021 (D Magazine Partners). He was recognized by Whos Who Legal USA as a Thought Leader in 2023. Tim has been included in The Best Lawyers in America from 2003-2026 (Woodward/White, Inc.) and in Texas Super Lawyers from 2003-2023 (Thomson Reuters). He is AV Peer Review Rated Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. The Sigma Chi Fraternity recognized Tim in 2015 with the Significant Sig Award. In 2020, Tim was named a distinguished alumnus of Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
