He graduated from Providence College (B. A. 1982) and Boston College Law School (J. D. 1985). He is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and before the U. S. District Courts for the Districts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and the U. S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit. Mr. Campbell is General Counsel to the Utility Contractors Association of Rhode Island, and Associated Builders and Contractors of Rhode Island. David is a member of the Attorneys Council for the American Subcontractors Association and the Forum on the Construction Industry for the American Bar Association. He has co- authored Advanced Construction Law in Rhode Island published by National Business Institute and is a frequent speaker for business and trade groups throughout the State.
