Deidre D. Jewel

Deidre Jewel is a Southeast Missouri native, having been born and raised in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Deidre graduated from Cape Central High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 1992 with a Major in Political Science and Economics. Deidre received her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 1995. Since becoming an attorney, Deidre has practiced law in Jefferson City, St. Louis, Charleston and Cape Girardeau. Deidres legal career began in the Missouri Public Defender System where she defended indigent clients in the criminal system. Deidre held this position for five (5) years until she left the Public Defenders office to pursue private practice. Deidre has worked in the areas of criminal defense, insurance defense, workers compensation, domestic relations and for the past seven years in the areas of bankruptcy and social security disability. Deidre loves the area of bankruptcy and social security disability because she believes that she is able to have a positive, life-changing impact for her clients. Deidre is married and has two daughters. She is involved in her childrens school activities and in her church, Vantage Point. Deidres husband Devin pastors Vantage Point Church. In her free time, Deidre loves to read and entertain.
