He brings to the firm valuable knowledge and experience in commercial litigation and appellate law. David has represented individuals and businesses in an assortment of legal matters — including construction issues, uniform commercial code concerns and landlord/tenant disputes. To further apply his legal training in our community, David provides free legal services to the Court Appointed Special Advocate Program of Mahoning County and to Mahoning Countys Volunteer Legal Services Program. In 2004, the VLSP honored David as its Lawyer of the Year, and the Mahoning County Bar Association bestowed upon him the Distinguished Service Award in 2009. Davids educational background includes a B. A. in History from The Kings College in New York. Highlighted by an internship with a U. S. Senate Judiciary subcommittee, he graduated summa cum laude from Kings in 1983. Then as a recipient of the Portage County Bar Associations Albert Lincoln Caris scholarship, David attended Ohio State University College of Law where he obtained his J. D. in 1986. Outside of his law practice, David serves the community as an active member of The Old North Church of Canfield, and as a Director of both A. I. D., Inc. of Salem and the Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce.
