Benjamin Dishowitz

Benjamins primary areas of practice include General Civil, Commercial, Real Estate, Probate, Estate and Trust, Business, Employment and Small Claims Litigation, Money and Contract Disputes, Post-Litigation Judgment Collection, Landlord and Tenant Law and Guardianship. Benjamin is a member of the Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Benjamin is also a member of the Broward County Bar Association, University of Miami School of Law Alumni Association, 17th Judicial Circuit Professionalism Panel, and the University of Florida Alumni Association. Benjamin received an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating possible, and was named by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star for Excellence in Practice. Benjamin achieved his Bachelor of Arts Degree, Cum Laude, in Political Science from the University of Florida, where he was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity. He received his Masters in Education also from the University of Florida and achieved his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law where he was a Deans Scholarship Recipient, Chief Justice of the Student Bar Association Supreme Court, a member of HOPE (Helping Others Through Pro Bono Efforts), Cardozo Jewish Legal Society and Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity member. Benjamin is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and before the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida. Benjamin is a member of the Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Benjamin is also a member of the Broward County Bar Association, University of Miami School of Law Alumni Association, and the University of Florida Alumni Association. Benjamin recently served as the Chairman of the Broward County University of Miami Young Alumni Committee and was named to the Board of Directors for the Soref Jewish Community Center. Benjamin also serves as a Special Master for the City of Deerfield Beach, FL.
