Frantz About David David P. Frantz joined Zashin & Rich in 2013 and is an Ohio State Bar Association Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment Law. David focuses his practice on representing private and public employers in litigation, arbitration, and collective bargaining. He is a dedicated advocate and utilizes his knowledge, experience, and relationships to advance his clients interests. David regularly represents clients before federal and state courts and agencies on all types of employment cases including discrimination, wage and hour, Family and Medical Leave Act, and trade secret and non-compete cases. He also has significant appellate experience, including successfully litigating cases on appeal before Ohios Eighth District Court of Appeals and the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. An experienced labor attorney, David regularly negotiates collective bargaining agreements and represents clients in fact-finding, conciliation, and unfair labor practice proceedings. He has represented public sector clients in a multitude of grievance arbitrations, including prevailing in several high-profile police misconduct cases. In addition to litigating cases and negotiating contracts, David provides day-to-day counsel to clients on labor and employment matters, including advising on best practices and drafting various agreements and policies. David also has experience litigating and advising on public accommodation matters arising under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
