Jason J. Curliano

Founding and managing partner of a boutique litigation firm in Oakland, CA. After spending the first part of his career in a well-established litigation defense firm, Mr. Curliano and Ms Buty founded Buty & Curliano in 2002. Since that time, he has focused his practice on the litigation related defense of Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, healthcare practitioners and individuals in the areas of medical malpractice, business litigation, employment and labor cases, PAGA litigation, sexual assault and harassment, toxic torts, trade secrets, product liability, and construction defect. Mr. Curliano has twenty plus years of significant practice and trial experience in both state and federal courts in northern and southern California. He has obtained numerous defense verdicts in multimillion dollar personal injury and employment cases. He also spends part of his time working with clients on risk assessment, counseling on various employment practices, and assisting with difficult terminations.
