About
Bio I have been representing employers, large and small, in workers compensation and other employment law matters for 25 years. I was in-house workers compensation administrator for British Petroleum in Ohio, managing a program for 15,000 employees, While in that position I also served as a board member and vice president of the Self Insured Group of Ohio. I was appointed Public Member of the Ohio Industrial Commission in 1994 by then-Governor George Voinovich and served as the first woman chairperson of that Commission. I also served as the chair of the Self-Insured Employer Evaluation Board. I have been named as a Super Lawyer from 2004 through 2014. I was named one of the Top 50 Women Attorney in Ohio for 2012. I attended government leadership courses at Duke and Harvard while serving on the Industrial Commission and was also a board member and vice president of Women in Government Association. I am a frequent lecturer on many topics at Advanced Workers Compensation seminars in Ohio and have the top Martindale Hubbell rating. I was recently elected to the National Workers Compensation College. In order to achieve this honor, you must be recommended by your peers and submit information and references for review and for vote by the College Fellows. My goals are to use my experience and expertise to obtain results for my clients and to continue to learn and develop as an employer representative. Specialties: Workers Compensation and unemployment compensation law.
