Grant has a nationwide practice successfully defending clients across the country, including in popular class action forums such as California, New York, Illinois, and Missouri. Grant specializes in defending companies in the consumer goods industries, including food and beverage, personal care, beauty and cosmetics, and home appliances, in product labeling, false advertising, and greenwashing class actions. He is particularly experienced in achieving successful results for his clients at early phases of litigation, including pre-complaint, at the pleading stage, and prior to class certification. In all matters, Grant leverages his industry knowledge and defense experience to advise clients on risk and help resolve disputes in the manner that best achieves his clients interests. Grant also has extensive experience in the title insurance and mortgage servicing industries. Throughout his career, he has represented some of the nations largest title insurance underwriters and mortgage servicers in a broad spectrum of matters, including class actions asserting violations of state consumer protection statutes and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and regulatory examinations, investigations and enforcement actions, including in relation to cyber and information security mandates recently imposed by various states.
