Lawrence M. Scott

Lawrence Larry Scott has been a member of the OReilly Rancilio Board of Directors since joining the firm in 1999. He serves clients with complex litigation matters and more. A highly-effective court-appointed mediator, facilitator, and arbitrator, Mr. Scott is often called upon by the courts to assist in solving cases. He has helped in hundreds of cases throughout his career, and fellow attorneys describe him as an outstanding trial attorney. Mr. Scott has been honored as a Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers magazine every year from 2008-2023. The peer-reviewed Michigan Super Lawyers ranking has been awarded to Mr. Scott in the area of Business Litigation every year since 2008. A highly-respected metro Detroit commercial litigator, Mr. Scott has helped business owners solve disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, intellectual property (partnership or shareholder issues), employment, debt collection, and more. A believer in community service, since January 2023, Mr. Scott serves as a Trustee of Henry Ford Hospital Macomb. He has previously served on the Board for Michigan Special Olympics (2000-2006) and the Detroit Zoo (2012-2022).
