Erik Shaughnessy

Erik Shaughnessy Erik is a Founding Principal of the firm and Chair of the firms Condominium/Community Association Practice Group. Since 2008, Erik has concentrated his practice on representing condominiums and community associations, with an emphasis on representing clients in lien enforcement actions to recover unpaid common expenses in state and federal bankruptcy courts; drafting, amending and advising clients on governing documents; rules enforcement; and advising clients on questions concerning condominium/community association governance and best practices. Erik represents condominiums and community associations throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Erik is active in state and local organizations concerning condominiums and community associations including Community Association Institute (CAI). In addition to his community association representation, Eriks areas of practice include: residential and commercial leasing; residential and commercial landlord-tenant law; title examinations; and recording of instruments.
