Nathan F. Smith

Biography Mr. Smith has worked on numerous corporate bankruptcies, addressing tens of billions of funded indebtedness and liabilities in the aggregate. In these roles, Mr. Smith has served as a financial advisor to independent directors, litigation counsel, official committees of unsecured creditors, wind down trustees, plan administrators, private equity firms, chapter 11 trustees and debtors. Notable cases include Stage Stores, Ascena Retail Group, Insys Therapeutics, Purdue Pharma, Eagle Hospitality Trust, Basic Energy Services, Fieldwood Energy and Intelsat S. A. Prior to joining Province, Mr. Smith had roles in corporate accounting, wealth management, and technology services.
