Cody S. Mounteer

While in practice, Cody has been afforded the opportunity to represent clients ranging from private and publicly held corporations, to municipal clients involved in highly sensitive and publicized cases. Cody’s practice of law has brought him experience in a variety of high value and complex matters involving international, federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Most recently, Cody was successful in acquiring a full defense verdict by jury trial for his client, an apartment complex owner, who faced a 21-million-dollar demand against it. Cody also was integral in settling various multi-million-dollar consolidated actions on behalf of an insurance carrier in receivership who wrote commercial general liability and workers compensation insurance for Nevada contractors. Further, Cody successfully defended and settled claims asserted against private and municipal entities with regard to the largest pipeline expansion project in the history of Clark County, Nevada. When not practicing law, Mr. Mounteer can be found enjoying time with his family in the outdoors boating, hiking, skiing, or cruising on his motorcycle.
