Michael R. Merritt

Practice Summary Michael Merritt does primarily litigation work. Michael has developed an eclectic and active litigation practice over the past 25+ years with extensive expertise in all phases of complex litigation in construction, business/commercial, real estate, injury claims, insurance coverage, professional liability, and federal criminal defense. He has tried more than 20 cases to a jury verdict since he began his practice. Michael has also served commercial real estate developers as litigation and transactional counsel, has served as general counsel to an energy company, and has been named a member of the Federal CJA Criminal Defense Panel.
