Abran Vigil has years of experience as a business litigator and counselor, both in private practice and as in-house counsel. Abe focuses on commercial litigation involving real estate and construction, banking and financial services, and business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. His practice also emphasizes corporate governance and strategy, contested regulatory proceedings, administrative and regulatory litigation, attorney general actions, crisis management, trade practice disputes, and business torts. In addition to more than 20 years of experience in private practice, Abe served more than three years as chief legal officer and general counsel of a major business management consulting firm that provides strategic services to companies in a variety of heavily regulated industries, including financial services, construction, hospitality, gaming, professional sports, food service, and media. This experience includes negotiating directly with various labor unions. Abe has substantial experience representing lenders and servicers in a range of actions under various federal and state laws and regulations. His commercial finance and banking litigation experience includes loan enforcement, class action defense, multidistrict litigation, defense of lender liability claims, and qui tam actions. Abe has handled a wide range of disputes over the management, control, and ownership of businesses. He has regularly appeared in the state and federal courts within Nevada, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and in various states and federal districts on a pro hac vice basis. He has argued multiple cases to favorable verdicts in trials and arbitrations.
