Cliff Marcek

Dedication and a commitment to justice are what shaped Attorney Cliff W. Marceks career. Born in 1960 in Las Vegas, he pursued his bachelors degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and graduated in 1986. Continuing his education, he attended the renowned University of the Pacific, McGeorge College of Law. After passing the California bar, he gained three years of insurance defense experience. In 1994, Cliff returned to his hometown, passed the Nevada State Bar exam, and joined the local legal community. With a focus on personal injury law, he established his own practice in 1997. Known for his compassionate approach and unwavering determination, Cliff tirelessly advocated for his clients, seeking justice and fair compensation. In January 2023, Cliff took a significant step forward in his career and joined forces with the esteemed law firm Bertoldo Carter Smith & Cullen. This new partnership opened doors to even more excellent opportunities to impact the lives of Nevadans in need. Throughout his career, Cliff has a proven track record with over thirty-five jury trials to verdict and over fifty bench trials to a decision. Additionally, he has successfully argued appeals before the Nevada Supreme Court, the Nevada State Court of Appeals, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Cliffs contributions extend beyond his legal practice. He actively engages with the legal community and for 23 years was the Coordinator of Community Service for William S. Boyd School of Law, where he imparted his knowledge to aspiring legal professionals. Additionally, Cliff dedicates his time to pro bono cases, ensuring that individuals without access to justice have a voice. Recognizing his exceptional commitment, he was recently appointed to the prestigious Attorney Generals Commission on Military-Veterans Pro Bono Legal Services. This role allows him to advocate for the rights and well-being of those who have bravely served our country. Through his remarkable journey and unwavering dedication, Cliff W.
