Wheeler Greg Wheeler brings a strong foundation in finance, accounting, and business to his legal practice. He represents banks, financial institutions, and businesses in litigation and dispute resolution, with experience spanning commercial litigation, debt recovery, and real estate-related matters. His dual background in law and finance allows him to approach cases with both legal precision and a practical understanding of the financial issues involved. Greg earned his Juris Doctor (magna cum laude) from the University of Akron School of Law, where he also received a Master of Business Administration in finance (summa cum laude) and a Master of Science in Accountancy (summa cum laude). He also holds a bachelors degree in multidisciplinary studies from the University of Akron. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. Greg first joined Kim & Associates in 2021 and returned to the firm following a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Jill Flagg Lanzinger of the Ninth District Court of Appeals. At Kim & Associates, his practice is divided between representing banks and businesses in complex litigation and supporting the firms debt collections practice group. In that role, he serves as Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General, handling Medicaid estate recovery and other financial disputes on behalf of the state. Beyond his legal practice, Greg serves on the boards of multiple charter schools and community organizations. He is an experienced entrepreneur and businessman with extensive experience in residential real estate transactions.
