John Della Jacono

John is an experienced litigator who has practiced law since 1987. Mr. Della Jacono has worked as the Managing Attorney of a national insurers legal practice and as a Senior Trial Attorney for a national insurance defense law firm where he has gained his experience in General Liability, Products Liability and New York Labor Law. He has defended complex, high exposure, negligence based claims in real estate, construction and transportation. Johns practice has involved the defense of landlords and property owners in General Liability, Premises Security, Lead Paint Poisoning and Labor Law claims. John is an experienced trial attorney who has obtained numerous defense verdicts and favorable pre-trial results. Recently, John has also represented plaintiffs in the Ground Zero MC 102 toxic exposure litigation as well as plaintiffs in high end Lead Paint Exposure, Labor Law, Wrongful Death and General Liability Claims. He has taken a variety of plaintiff cases to trial and obtained high end recovery settlements. No matter the case, John provides each client with a high level of responsiveness, offering detailed analysis and identification of opportunities for early resolution. After Law School John served 5 years as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, NY where his responsibilities included investigating and handling homicides and major-offense crimes. This rigorous and often highly charged practice helped him gain the skills and attention to detail that his clients appreciate. John is admitted to practice law in the State Courts of New York and Connecticut and the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of Federal Court in New York. John obtained his Law Degree at Albany Law School and his undergraduate degree at Fairfield University.
