Cristina Medina

Cristina represents employers and managers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including single and multi-plaintiff matters involving disability, race, age, and gender discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, hostile work environment, and wrongful termination claims. Cristina also defends employers against wage and hour claims, including class action and representative claims under Californias Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). In addition, Cristina counsels employer clients to prevent litigation from arising on various issues including wage and hour compliance, employee classification, employee handbooks, personnel policies, and employee discipline and termination decisions. Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Cristina was an associate at a Los Angeles-based law firm representing public entities in personal injury and employment matters. Cristina earned her J. D. degree from Loyola Law School. There, she served as a Technical Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. During law school, Cristina volunteered with the Loyola Center for Conflict Resolution.
