Edward Witas

Biography Edward J. Witas III focuses his practice in the fields of Real Estate, Estate Planning and Probate Practice, Business Law, Divorce, General and Commercial Litigation, Personal Injury; DUI, Traffic and Criminal Defense. He has successfully represented individual and business clients in a variety of matters, as both plaintiff and defense counsel, throughout Cook, McHenry, Lake, DuPage, Will, and Kane Counties. Mr. Witas received his Juris Doctorate with the high distinction of Magna Cum Laude, from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School, in Lansing, Michigan. He has been recognized for his work in the fields of torts, contracts, and secured transactions. Prior to his admission to the Illinois Bar, Mr. Witas served in the Lake County States Attorney's Office, assisting in the prosecution of DUI, traffic, and other criminal offenses. Mr. Witas is a member of Illinois State Bar Association.
