Erin G. Jackson

Biography Erin G. Jackson is a founding Shareholder in the firm. For over 20 years, Erin has defended both private and publicsector employers before state and federal courts and agencies. Since 2006, Erin has been Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Labor and Employment Law. She is AV-Rated 5.0/5.0 by Martindale Hubbell. She was named a 2018 Business Woman of the Year Honoree by the Tampa Bay Business Journal and for many years has been named among the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Florida by Super Lawyers. Erin was recently awarded the George C. Carr Memorial Award by the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, the highest honor awarded by the organization, recognizing excellence in federal practice and distinguished service to the Federal Bar Association. Erin has served as President of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, President of the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers, and Chair of the Trial and Litigation Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association. Erin also served for many years on the Executive Board of the Glazer Childrens Museum, the Bay Area Manufacturers Association, and The Skills Center of Tampa. She is a trusted advisor to a broad range of employers, including large hospitals, utility companies, retail establishments, manufacturing companies, pharmaceutical companies, financial services businesses, software development companies, health care providers, and local government employers (school boards, counties, and municipalities). Erin assists employers in managing the employment relationship, conducts investigations into claims of harassment and discrimination, develops strategies for relations with labor organizations, handles disputes involving non-competition agreements, conducts training of supervisors and management, and defends employers through trials and appeals when they are wrongfully accused of violation of employment laws. Erin graduated cum laude from the University of Florida and obtained her Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law, where she served on the Law Review and the Mock Trial team.
