Attorney Matt Horak is a Board Certified Criminal Trial Specialist. He has spent the last 17 years crafting a powerhouse reputation in South Texas. Starting at that Harris County District Attorneys Office, he quickly rose up the ranks based on his trial wins and relentless work ethic. Sometimes trying two cases in one week, he gained invaluable knowledge, experience, and most importantly, respect from colleagues and judges. After leaving the DAs Office in 2006, Matt has spent the better part of his daily life preparing, reviewing, and working criminal cases from beginning through trial. Matt is always training his legal skills. Despite having over 60 criminal trials under his belt, Matt is a 2015 graduate of the prestigious Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in Wyoming. Lawyers spend one-month on a ranch in Wyoming in an intensive trial skills program designed to train lawyers to rise to elite levels of their practice. Prior to his legal education in Houston, Matt Horak graduated from Texas A&M Corpus Christi with honors, earning a Bachelors degree in European History. Even before earning his J.
