Areas Of Practice Insurance Coverage & Bad Faith General Civil Litigation & Insurance Defense Kelly Wilson is a partner with Boyd & Jenerette, P. A., with over fifteen years of experience advising and representing carriers in a broad range of first and third-party coverage matters. Her practice focuses primarily on insurance defense, including pre-suit advisement and consultation on claims handling, complex coverage issues, and insurer bad faith issues, and litigation on behalf of carriers in state and federal courts. Kelly has extensive experience formulating coverage opinions, evaluating and responding to civil remedy notices of insurer violation, advising clients concerning potential extra-contractual liability, and litigating all aspects of breach of contract and declaratory actions. Prior to joining the firm, Kelly served as staff counsel to a major national automobile insurer for eleven years. Her in-house experience includes over six years as a managing attorney overseeing and handling personal injury protection litigation, auto glass litigation, and examinations under oath. Before that, Kelly worked in private practice for three years representing carriers in high-exposure property and liability matters. Kelly is a native Michigander who is now settled in sunny Orlando, Florida. She regularly volunteers at Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, Pet Alliance of Central Florida, and various animal sanctuaries. Kelly is an avid runner and participates in trail, road, and obstacle course races across Florida and the United States.
