After her clerkship, she worked at two large law firms in Atlanta, Georgia before moving to Paducah, Kentucky. She was appointed to serve as a Special Justice to the Kentucky Supreme Court in 2020 to hear the case for the purpose of hearing and deciding Lindsey Childers, et al. v. William S.
