Mitchell E. McCrea

Before joining Slack Davis Sanger LLP, Mitch was a successful trial attorney at other preeminent plaintiff firms. Mitch started his career over twenty years ago on the insurance defense side for an aviation firm before moving into plaintiffs personal injury law. In addition to a practice that includes personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, trucking accidents, and oil and gas accidents, Mitch also practices aviation law. Mitch is a member of the Texas and New Mexico Bar Associations, American Association of Justice, Texas and New Mexico Trial Lawyers Associations along with the Dallas Bar Association and Chaves County Bar Association. In 2013, Mitchell was an AAJ Trial Lawyer of the Year finalist. In 2003, he received his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Texas Tech University Earlier, Mitch earned a Master of Arts degree in History from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, and a Bachelor of Arts in History, with Honors, from Principia College in Elsah, Illinois. Born and raised in southeastern New Mexico, Mitch and his brother own and operate a working cattle ranch. When not working hard for his injured New Mexico and Texas clients, he may be chasing cows or guiding hunts in New Mexico.
