About
Katie received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with minors in History and Art from Mercer University in 2013. She also earned a Juris Doctor from Mercer Law School in 2016. During law school, Katie was a member of the Mercer Law Review, where she served on the Editorial Board as Administrative Editor. As a law review member, she wrote a piece on professional malpractice litigation that was selected for publication in 2015. Katie also served as president of Mercer Laws largest student organization, the Association of Women Law Students, and was a member of the Health Law Society. Upon graduation, she received the National Association of Women Lawyers Award, which is given to a student who demonstrated academic achievement, contributed to the advancement of women in society, and promoted issues and concerns of women in the legal profession.
