Marissa Thomas

Marissa earned her J. D. from Elon University School of Law in Greensboro, North Carolina. During law school, she was a Student Attorney in the Humanitarian Immigration Law Clinic in which she successfully represented low-income refugees and asylum seekers in North Carolina with applying for political asylum, permanent residency, citizenship, as well as reunifying families separated by war and conflict. Through her work with multiple international organizations, including the International Organization for Migration and the International Monetary Fund, Marissa has shown her passion and dedication to support the global community. She is eager to utilize this knowledge in her work with Tievsky Immigration Law. Marissa is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
