Minbo Shim

Attorney Brief Minbo Shim joined Blue Williams in 2021 as an associate in the Houston office. His practice focuses on personal injury defense (including automobile, product liability, and premises liability suits), fatality and wrongful death claims, insurance coverage matters, and defending claims filed under the Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation Act. Education Mr. Shim obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. Thereafter, he achieved his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston Law Center. Narrative During law school, Mr. Shim served as a law clerk for the Honorable Larry Weiman, where he became interested in pursuing a career in civil litigation. Thereafter, he clerked at a personal injury firm and helped victims injured by defective pharmaceutical products and medical devices. After being admitted to the Texas bar in 2018, Mr. Shim began practicing in the areas of insurance defense. Bar, Courts & Professional Affiliations Mr. Shim is a member of the Texas State Bar Association and is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts. Mr. Shim is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
