Logan Jones

Overview Logans practice focuses on litigation with an emphasis on oil and gas issues and complex commercial and business disputes. He practices in a wide variety of industries, representing individual and businesses. He frequently practices in State and Federal Court across the State of Texas. Logan has represented large energy companies and individual and family mineral owners across the State of Texas in complex oil and gas litigation. He has successfully handled disputes concerning mineral and leasehold title, operator/non-operator disputes, and breach of joint operating agreements among other things. Logan also frequently represents financial service companies in commercial and consumer finance matters and members of the motor vehicle industry in matters relating to sales, leasing and operations. He has represented financial service companies in several phases of their operations including litigation, transactions and bankruptcy. While in law school, Logan worked as a Legal Intern for a pipeline compression company and served as a Clerk for the Railroad Commission of Texas. Also during law school, Logan was an Article Editors for the Texas Tech Law Review and a member of the Energy Law Interest Group. Prior to joining McGinnis Lochridge, Logan worked for a firm that focused primarily on maritime issues.
