History Nate is an experienced trial attorney, specializing in personal injury and family law matters. Nate is a San Francisco native and developed extensive trial experience as an assistant district attorney in the San Francisco District Attorney Office from 1980 to 1984. In 1976, Nate started his career where as a law student he worked for one of the first personal injury attorneys who advertised in the yellow pages. It was here where Nate developed skill in interviewing clients and interfacing with insurers and medical providers in an effort to resolve client personal injury claims. His many years of experience have given Nate valuable insight into evaluating personal injury cases in deciding whether to resolve a case through settlement or jury trial. While at the San Francisco District Attorneys Office, Nate established paternity orders, child support orders, child support arrearage judgments and how to collect present and past due support monies. For 38 years Nate has specialized in high conflict family law matters and is certified as a family law specialist by the California State Bar. Nate has represented many young and upcoming local Bay Area artists, enriching his knowledge and understanding of business transactions. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in California, the Central and Northern District Federal Courts of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal and the United States Tax Court. He holds a Masters of Business in Taxation from Golden Gate University which assists in all areas of his practice. Nate has keen negotiation skills that has carried over to his family law practice.
